Ad petram sistrariam
"Sestriere is an alpine village in Italy, a comune of the Province of Turin. It is situated in Val Susa, 17 km from the French border. Its name derives from Latin: ad petram sistrariam, that is at sixty Roman miles from Turin."
One can see the tree "line" easily in this photo. It is as if the forest climbs the mountians but like a growing entity, I think of virus or bacteria, even though I love forests, it increases in size until it reaches a limit.
