about the Odyssey. i said i would tell you about it, so:
i honestly enjoyed it more than i thought i would. some of my classmates chose to read spark notes, but i was persistent and read every chapter we were assigned. the beginning was tough because i wasn't used to the language, but afterwards i could easily read everything. it must be a pretty famous story to have survived so long, and i'm glad i can say i've read it. we have a test on tuesday (we have school until the 23rd - wednesday) and my teacher created a quizlet group. so i've been playing the games on the website which reallly help me learn all the names. hopefully i'll do well on the test because i need to raise my english grade.
tonight i'm going to swim practice and then to my friend's house to watch the Newsies. it's a Disney movie about boys selling newpapers who went on strike in the late 1800s - early 1900s. we've watched it in school but we fell in love with the movie so we're watching it agian. hahah we're such nerds.
anyways, Christian Bale plays one of the main characters (you may know him from Batman) and boyyyy, is he handsome! *swoons* he's pretty much the reason i want to watch the Newsies agian. a picture of him is the background on my cellphone. i'm sorta obsessed :D
