The Replacement

For those of you who do not know yet (probably everyone) my truck finally gave up the ghost yesterday, climbing a hill. Engine is now making a grinding noise (crankshaft) shakes horribly at idle, oil pressure is 9 PSI at idle when warm (requires 16 to keep running without severe engine damage resulting,) so I'm done with it. It really hurts...a lot. When it died, the good segment of my childhood did as well. Most people will be like "Oh you're so full of crap, get over it" But they do not understand, how truly horrific my childhood (if you could call it that) was, before we left dad. So, with the truck dead, the last portion of my earlier years did with it. But, I need a truck, and this will most likely be it.

1993 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE, fully loaded, power windows, locks, steering, AM/FM/Cassette w/ Equalizer, tilt steering, cruise control, cloth seating, carpeting, etc....the "Cowboy Cadillac" V8 engine, 4WD, 117K miles.

I'm most likely going to go look at it either Saturday or Sunday, if it looks ok, and works fine, I'll buy it sometime this week.
