ATW 57315 @ Abergele
Eén van de allerlaatste diesellocgetrokken treinen in de UK is de dagelijkse slag Holyhead - Cardiff van Arriva Trains Wales. Dit was tevens de eerste trein waarbij de nieuwe kleurstelling werd toegepast. Vaste trekkracht is de 57315, ex 'Tunderbird' van... Virgin Trains. One of the last remaining locohauled siesel services in the UK is the daily Holyhead - Cardiff service, which also was the first train in the new Arriva livery. Last year I came across this train in South Wales (view www.flickr.com/photos/siccodierdorp/4737481465/ and www.flickr.com/photos/siccodierdorp/4752430074/ ), but now this is the other 'end' of it's long journey. Ex Thunderbird 57315 passes Abergele just before the shadows take over.
