Wow. It feels good to be home, even if for just a few hours. A lot has happened in the past month, including getting married and traveling to the East Coast with my best friend and love Lisa Moore. We will both be sharing many images from our trip in the coming weeks. On the way home, we spent the night in Mt. Shasta to photograph the beautiful Mossbrae Falls the following morning only to find that the "authorized" trail they plan on blazing to the falls will not be complete until 2015 and that they have became pretty serious about ticketing people who park near or visit these beautiful falls. I have a few chronic ailments, one of which is selective vision so I did not see any "no trespassing" signs in the area but did not want to risk getting our car towed so..... Lisa offered and made the ultimate sacrifice by dropping me off to jog the 1 mile down the tracks to the falls. She really really wanted to photograph this beauty as well but made the ultimate sacrifice for me. Just another in the long list of reasons why I love her.
