My Own Private Heaven ~ Mt Rainier, Washington
This is a shot I have been meaning to get back and reprocess. I tried to shoot in this same location this year, and some of you even asked me about it, but over the last year trees and other vegetation have taken over this stream, making this shot even more special to me now. I have been trying to decide 4 or 5 of my shots to have printed large on canvas for my personal collection and I think this may be one of them.
My reprocess of this included leaving it a little dark, and adding a glow to some of the highlights. I also corrected a blue tint I had missed in the water by simply dragging the blue all the way down in the saturation menu. I really like the way this turned out.
