Lost in Thought

So my buddy and fellow photographer, David Gregg Man in the Road, and I went up to the highest point in Orange County, Santiago Peak. Though not extremely high in altitude (only about 5,700 feet) we were able to see all of OC, the Inland Empire and south along the ridge of the Saddleback mountain range. A nice off-road experience. The last shot I ever expected to get on a Jeep trip to this point was this. It was a lazyboy recliner on the roof of one of the substation towers. With the altitude and nothing visible beyond the roof line it made for a unique photo. I had to wait until that little cloud made it perfectly into position but, on a beautiful Spring day in Southern California that was pretty effortless.
