His full name is Thackery Binks after the black cat in the movie " Hocus Pocus"
My daughter put him in "lay away" at a local pet store, he was getting quite big, 4 -5 months old, (I think), and was the last one they had, but no one would buy him.
My daughter took her lunch money and made a few payments, then of course told me she had a surprise for me when we went to pick him up.
She had to have adult approval to take him, lol
Just a wonderful, lovey kitty.
