Ice Edge

The terminus or foot of Glaciar Perito Moreno. A towering wall of fractured and twisted Ice seracs. The glaciar originates in the southern Patagonia Icefield which is the world's second largest contiguous extrapolar ice field. It has an approximate area of 16,480 km2 (6,360 sq mi). The Glaciar flows east into Lake Argentino and via the rivers de la Leona and Santa Cruz to the Atlantic ocean. Los Glaciers National ParkPatagonian Argentina.
