View of the New York Central Park South skyline from inside Central Park. The Wollman Skating Rink seen here is a public ice rink in the southern part of Central Park. The Jumeirah Essex House, a luxury hotel, can also be easily recognized by its original rooftop sign.

 

[Some Trivia]

1. The rink is currently operated by the Trump organization, and is today known as the Trump Wollman Skating Rink.

2. The rink has been featured in many Hollywood movies.

3. In popular culture, the Essex House is known for its relationship with the American television program Saturday Night Live. In the early years of the show, Don Pardo would announce that "guests of Saturday Night Live stay at the Essex House!".

4. Angelina Jolie owns the penthouse apartment at the top.
