The view behind us as we made our way back down from Mt. Washington’s summit.

Known to the Native Americans before European settlers arrived as Agiocochook, Mt. Washington is the highest peak in New England, reaching 1,917 m. It’s notorious for its high wind, with the fastest speed recorded being 372 km/hr, and erratic weather at the summit.
