Al Mudhif - A Confluence is a collaboration of Sarah Kavage and Philadelphia-based artist Yaroub Al-Obaidi and his brother Mohannad to build a mudhif at SCEE, possibly the first such structure to be built in North America! A mudhif is a traditional Iraqi ceremonial structure, made of bundled and woven marsh-growing reeds, that serves as a hospitality and celebration space.
