"Next Aishwarya Rai?" One of the casual labourers involved in the maintenance of the heritage site at Badami. (incidentaly, some scenes in the movie 'Guru', starring Aishwarya Rai were shot exactly on this site where this woman was working)

While we know a lot about the kings and other sponsors of the great mounuments we know little about the actual artists and artisans and workers who actually made it possible.
