Fuji X10 Baby photo
Quick shot of one of my sons using the Fuji X10 in manual with a Canon 430EX bounced to the left. This illustrates completely why I shoot with a flash indoors with my kids. The Fuji could barely lock focus in the low light, but still managed to time a great expression.
Full resolution available... Once again, in good light (artificial though it is) just about any camera can get a lot of detail and make great prints to 8x10. However, not having a flash shoe where you can bounce means this kind of shot won't be possible (some of the Panny MFT cameras get top marks here for the built in flash that lets to flip it 90 degrees and bounce). This is why a camera like the S100 will never be my camera of choice...
Granted, I have to bring a flash - but I do have that luxury indoors. Outdoors the X10 is nice and compact without the flash.
