eight one. A Hint of Honesty

You drive fast and sometimes smell really good. You are honest and real in every situation. You have no idea how much I respect that, because you don't even know how it affects the people around you. You said one of the greatest things anyone has ever said to me, yesterday. You have maintained an aura of innocence, when you are anything but. You are awkward, maybe that is what I perceive as innocence. You are resilient and don't recognize that fact about yourself. You are so endearing and kind. You can be slightly inappropriate, but I find it silly because you don't do it on purpose. You scare me because of how easily you can read me. You are smarter than I gave you credit for. You are smarter than you give yourself credit for. You know something about me that so few do. You earned my trust, but more than that, you showed me that it really doesn't matter. You helped me realize that people really won't care, but on the same note, you do. You are already too important. You now hold the ability to hurt me.

But please don't.

Please listen. So as you pull me from the bed, tell me I look stunning and cadaverous. And since you are my friend I would ask that you lower me down slow. And tell the man in the black cloak he doesn't need to trouble his good soul with those Latin conjugations. And if it's all the same to them, you should tell your gathering friends please not to purse their faces grim on such a lovely Sunday. Don't fix my smile, life is long enough. We will put this flesh into the ground again.
