Day 6 Baby Eclectus
Day 6 for baby 1 and day 3 for baby 2. It was an interesting morning as I went to investigate the sounds mamma makes when she wants her mate to feed her, well I went in the room and pappa was no where to be found. Hmmm, turns out he was in the nest box with mamma helping her take care of the babies, he was feeding her in the box so she would not have to come to the entry of the box to get fed. Okay, that was weird, however, I know that if she does not want ME next to the box she certainly has no trouble letting me know that, so I have to assume that pappa was invited.
The wound on baby 1's neck is noticeably better this morning, it is showing signs of drying up. we applied Aloe as we have just to follow through.
