ð Kynance Cove ð

Not the usual pic of Kynance Cove. Although truth be told, I've never successfully shot the sweeping view of Asparagus Island from the cliffs.

I generally like to shoot with my feet in waves. I guess that goes some way towards defining my style. So, when I visit Kynance Cove, I plan my shoot for when low tide coincides with sunrise.

This morning, the two elements aligned. I knew that there would be low cloud which often tends to strip a scene of atmosphere. But I was lucky enough for a shaft of light to break through.

I selected one of the more interestingly-shaped barnacle-covered rock clusters to anchor the foreground. A slow shutter speed captured the movement of the waves.
