Tranquil Gaze
I lost my father early this month who went fighting pancreatic cancer. His grit and his intent to live was so strong that we never could sense the imminent happening; even till a day before it happened. He is no more with us in person but I can feel him in my heart and will always keep him and his courage alive in there. His death brought along the saddest moments of my life. Along with it also brought the joy of togetherness when the the distant family members and relatives came for the rituals.
Tenth day of the death is when the male members of family get their hair cut. I shall be posting a few portrait shots clicked on that day. The gentleman seen in this picture is my elder maternal uncle, Prabhas Singh, who still looks ever so gracious in his original earthy look.
