Reaching for the Sky

Martha's Vine: Book II - The Sequel is completed. First draft. There are at least two more drafts to go, and a ton of pre-publicity work to do, possibly even chasing down an agent this time. Another book signing next Saturday, and then the Coming Out party, where I will read aloud the first 3 chapters of the new book.

 

I love to write, but I also love photography.I did very little over the six weeks that it took me to write the book. 3-4 thousand words a day. Missed a day here and there, but for the most part, I stayed the course.

 

And I love and miss my Flickr friends. Thanks for indulging my absence. I will be back on Flickr, but in a more limited capacity, because now I am back on a heavy teaching schedule.

 

I teach digital cameras to beginners.

PS I had the most wonderful day shooting with Jason B, who began as one of my students, but quickly morphed into one of my best friends. He lives near Elk Island Park -- our national park where bison roam free -- and boy, did we ever find bison.
