Fragility of an Orchid in Desperation - EXPLORED

Fragility!

 

Starlight of spun sugar,

Robes of honeyed dew,

The seeker and the sought,

Not him, and not you.

 

Tangle of spider veins,

Trailing whispery fire,

Roam on and roam forth,

In desperate desire.

(I had no idea that this poem would be somewhat visionary. I wasn't around yesterday, because I took three of my grandbabies skiing.

 

The youngest (known on the hills as Speedy Gonzales) spent all night and well into the wee hours in emergency wards with a damaged thumb. Now, he's off to a hand clinic where they will push a slipped bone back into place. Talk about fragile!)

 

Thanks to all my Flickr buddies for their kind visits, comments, and invites. Now you know why I wasn't around too much yesterday.
