Sunny in the Tropics Modified Bento Box Quilt Top

I am done with the Bento Box top...

 

I need advice though. It's 45.5" x 58.5" like this (unwashed), I have been getting 3"-4" of shrinkage after it's done and washed. Should I add a white border to make it a little bigger ...or leave as is?

 

I am thinking a dark orange binding maybe and something bright for the backing....What do you think?
