Joseph Rodgers cutlers Sheffield 19th cent
The cutlery firm of Joseph Rodgers and Sons was also successful at the Exhibition of the Industry of All Nations, New York, USA, 1853 - 1854. The company received a bronze medal for the superiority of finish in an ‘elaborate sportsman’s knife of large size, with blades embossed variously and handle of richly carved mother of pearl.’
