Oliver!
Oliver (formally Aeden) was saved from the euthanasia list by Austin Pets Alive (APA) and boy are we thankful. He had parvo and APA treated him. He's now Parvo free (yay!) but will need another treatment or two. He has some demodectic (non-contageous) mange, that we are treating. And he is on antibiotics for a little longer after his neuter surgery.
Oliver is a chihuahua / dachshund mix, also known as a chiweenie or a dachuahua, so he's a low-rider like our girls, Reese (the other nose in this picture) and Trixie (who are full-bred dachshunds) but he is much smaller and has these amazing ears that stand up. He's about 3 months old and is full of spunk. He has settled in great and plays with the girls, then naps hard. He's been really good about going potty outside, although reluctantly in the rain. I was amazed when he slept through the entire night in his crate by my bed last night.
We are SO happy to add this little guy to our family. Austin Pets Alive, we can't thank you enough!
