EXPLORE Dec 21 # 329 ........I feel so sorry for these birds during severe weather such as this ice storm several years ago. I keep their feeders full and hope they do OK. The next day most of the ice was gone and it was warmer! Thanks for all your nice comments and faves!! Bluebirds have been under severe threat due to insecticides, invasive species and environmental degradation. However, because of people's love for them, providing them nest boxes, Bluebird trails and monitoring them and keeping out predators, they are now on the increase.
