A salt spa- many shops were coming up now, thanks to the easier approach from the other side of the trail
The trail on the Campuhan Ridge Walk has flattened out considerably, and there are also cars and motor scooters parked in the drive ways of some of the buildings. The more I walk now on the trail, the more I am convinced that it is much easier from this end rather than climb steeply up the ridge from the valley below on the other side which I unfortunately did, and which has left me totally out of steam with severely aching calf muscles and feet. Here is a salt spa being advertised outside one of the buildings on the Campuhan walk. This salt spa is yet another of the quirky massage types I am hearing of! Not here in Bali, but worldwide, this salt massage aside, I've heard of massages by pythons (Philippines and Russia), and massage/ spa using chocolate, red wine, mud, coffee, hot stone, cupping--- what's next?
