Our guide explains to us about the paintings

Our guide explains a point to my sis in law and me about the Chitta Akhara, also known as Ganga raam Akhara, which is one of the informal schools run by the Sikh religious leaders. The building appears to have been freshly restored and refurbished, due to which it was looking fairly pristine, quite unbecoming of it's age. Notice that all the miniature paintings adorning the walls here are from Sikhism, with pictures of their religious leader(s) in various poses and his/ their performing various preaching related activities.
