A brilliant portrayal as to how the country is sliced into two
A brilliant portrayal in the Partition Museum as to how the country is sliced into two. You can almost feel the pain of the saw cutting into you. The mastermind Jinnah who was responsible probably acted upon impulse or miscalculation. But his questionable decision led to hundreds up thousands led and millions worth of property destroyed on both sides. And while Indians and Pakistanis may be proud of their respective countries in their own right, Jinnah himself regretted his decision later in life, calling it a his biggest blunder. None of what he had aimed for by separating the two religions had been achieved despite the heavy loss of life and property. (Amritsar, Punjab, northern India, Nov. 2017)
