Manhattan skyline: sunset view from Brooklyn's Transmitter Park

A long exposure, sunset view of manhattan shot from the Transmitter Park in Brooklyn, few hours after an earlier rain storm. WNYC Transmitter Park is a 6.61-acre public park located where Greenpoint Avenue dead-ends by the East River shoreline, in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The site was acquired by the public radio station WNYC in 1935 as the site of twin antennae used for broadcasting. The Park was opened to the Greenpoint-Williamsburg communities in 2012 as a local waterfront destination. The park includes an overlook to the south, seating, and a waterfront esplanade. During a 4 day visit to our daughter's apt nearby where I visited the spot every night without a decent sunset, on the last night, after a cloudy and raining day, my patience was rewarded with this spectacular sunset!
