The One Who Represents Thousands [I]

Location: Kafrul, Dhaka; Bangladesh

Gear: Canon EOS 550D

Behind The Shot: It’s a story about a boy, a young boy of 23. Is the name is so important? I don’t think, the name of that boy is that much important for my story. He is not that much different from the others who struggling for surviving and a little betterment of the life.

This young guy has mother and two sisters in his family. Don’t misguide by my previous line. His father is not dead. He’s simply left them. But this matter doesn’t really have such influence on them. Because once he was with them but like an inexistent character. They had to live. So they started fight against life and they are still trying to develop their life better every moment.

I’ll not tell the story of that family. My story is about that young boy of 23. He was not such an extra-ordinary boy of his class and had to change his school and medium of study for nine times just because of the wrong decision of his father. Anyway he passed his school with an unexpected good result. From that time he started to think about his family betterment.

His mother was old enough to retire but she wasn’t. His elder sister was made her and younger sister’s pocket money by doing tuition. He was feeling shame because he couldn’t contribute anything to the family even then. So he started to think, how could he? In the period of college, he asked his mother to make their built their two storied building into three storied. He worked so hard with the masons to save the money. When he was almost end of his college life, the fourth storey was also completed. He could also make an acceptable good result in the college.

At present this guy is in the under-graduation level. His mother is still doing job. This young guy still lives with a dream to see the day her mother can enjoy her retirement and also her sister can live their life with the smile of satisfaction. This battle of life is still to be conquered. At the end of the day, when his feet can get relax finally, he closes his eyes with the hope of the day of the victory of a warrior.
