Transparent Government

Berlin's Reichstag building. Looking down from the dome through the glass-panelled roof of the government chambers - the Bundestag - where the elected representatives are visible to all .Apparently this design feature was a deliberate architectural metaphor for a visible and accountable government in a new Germany after unification.
