Twisted Tree
This amazing but quite healthy tree stands on the SW corner of Kingseat Hill in Clackmannan. The hill is well-named, as it affords a view of the whole of the county. It is also very exposed to the prevailing winds from the west and south, which would explain the stooped angle of the tree.
The silhouette on the right is Dumyat Hill which marks the SW extremity of the Ochil Hills range, bordering the north of Clackmannanshire and the south of Perthshire.
The lights and church of the county town of Alloa are just visible in the middle distance.
