Butane Skyline

Ebbing tide in a canal behind Richmond oil refineries left beds of exposed mud for the birds, and just a narrow channel for me to paddle in. Butane for the refinement process is stored under pressure in spherical tanks, and the scene reminded me of a 1950s sci-fi book cover.
