Miles on the crater's rim (I)

We knew a few hours beforehand that Perseids viewing was going to be a bust due to cloud cover last night, but Miles and I headed for Carquinez Strait anyway to connect up with a couple of workmates I hadn't seen in over a year, and to enjoy the space. There's a large man-made crater on top of a hill (maybe an old cow pond?) about 15' deep that was perfect for meteor viewing - blocks wind and light from the sides. No meteors this time, but had fun doing some light painting as he walked and ran along the crater's rim with a flashlight. No pixel peeping - tight crops.
