Remembrance Day Piper
Canada does up Remembrance Day on 11/11 each year the right way.. Much like Memorial Day in the States .. This fine gentleman was playing the bagpipe with the pipe and drums in Strathroy where my son was marching with his Cadet Corps.. I had to have a few photos of this face full of character..but when they played Amazing Grace on the bagpipes I was pretty choked up.. too bad I don't have sound to go with the photos.. another musician did a wonderful song about a boy from Alberta and only his uniform coming home.. yeah..I am a sap..I was pretty teared up.. lovely ceremony..please..remember our fallen heroes this November 11th.
