Pilot Python Elimination Program

The non-native, invasive Burmese python (Python bivittatus) is thriving in the Everglades, breeding rapidly, growing to great lengths and decimating whole species of mammals (such as the marsh rabbit). Large pythons prey on native deer, alligators and small mammals.
