GS: Part-Time Help.
The waiter and waitress on the right are volunteers from the local handicap center. When I initially approached the woman in the middle, she waved her hand in front of her face and then disappeared. I thought, "Hmm, okay, that was odd," but hung out and tried to read the menu. After a bit, she returned with another woman, on the left in glasses, in tow. "She cannot speak," said the new woman. "Ahhh," I said.
See, if I were a liberal crybaby blogger I would have run off to work, complained about the 'xenophobic' waitress and the Japanese, and then that evening blogged, "Oh my God, I got blown off by this xenophobic waitress in Japan today. Let me tell you what happened!"
