Boats Along the Yangtze River (17)
An interesting looking dredging boat on the Yangtze River. This is the seventeenth of a set of images I photographed during a five-day cruise on the famous Yangtze River in China, of ships we passed along the way. The river cruise sailed from Wuhan, a city now made famous by the Coronavirus, westwards to our final destination Chongqing, a sprawling city of over 31 million people.
Along the way we passed all sorts of interesting sights including every type of water craft imaginable, large industrial factories, beautiful mountain scenery, numerous not-so-beautiful destructive quarries along the river's edge, ancient temples, small villages and of course the three Gorges Dam project.
