City Reflected on Granite Bench
this morning, i decided to head out into the city a bit earlier as i was picking up my wife from her workplace...i was able to park around Oak Street Beach and planned on doing some walking around the lakefront just to see how my ankle would hold up...it was a beautiful morning, very mild with clear blue skies and the sun was already up...of course i had my camera with me and i was doing a little bit of shooting along the way...plenty of runners, bikers, in line skaters and morning lake swimmers along the lakefront this morning too...30 minutes into my walk, i ended up in Milton Lee Olive III Park in the River East section of the city in the Streeterville Neighborhood...i consider this park a hidden gem, as not all locals know of this area...it's a great place to relax and view the skyline any time of the day...there's even a lookout terrace that juts out and overhangs over Lake Michigan...and this is where i took this shot, where i used the granite benches on the terrace as the reflective surface for this frame...i simply placed my camera flat on the surface of the bench plus i was also finally able to use my new 77mm circular polarizer for my UWA lens...i think i really love how this different perspective turned out...pls.
