The £40 setup for skint MicroPhotographers (eg: me)

Hi guys !

 

I've been doing a lot of macro recently, micro sorry :) Either one.

I had a small Op - some scar tissue removed and so have been staying inside whilst it heals up, giving me the perfect opportunity to get down and dirty... cough.. with some insects.. or something like that !

 

I've been working on this design for a while, 2 days precisely :D It sort of just happened.

 

This setup can achieve 40x, if I can ever afford one that is.

Less vibrations as it weighs an absolute ton and the tripod ensures even less vibrations from the shutter (Still not figured out how to put 550D on silent mode :-D )

 

All the recent work I've been doing is with this simple and cheap setup.

Remember, its not how good the equipment is, it's how good you are !

Stay patient and twiddle that cog around and you'll get an image worth posting :))
