o0OO0o > Spiders Eyes at 10x

Hi guys !

I'm now back in Liverpool and enjoying the Christmas Holidays a lot :)

Before I left Aberystwyth I decided to do one final stack of a spider I found when I got back from London.

This is a 360 image stack as the frontal hairs on the palps stuck out quite a lot, which was really tiresome and a hard stack indeed, so not the best outcome imo.

In other news, I entered some photos into the 2012 RSPCA Photography competition a while back and 2 images, one of a Queen Bee and one of a jumping spiders eyes got in.

In the 16-18 years category my Jumping spiders eyes got first prize, a E-PL3 Lens changeable camera.

Then this same image went on to win the competition to my surprise !

I was overwhelmed with meeting Bill Oddie and getting my photograph taken with him and all the other very talented finalists !!

I was questioned a few times about my work and my methods and background. I was also told I should enter some other competitions and send my work off to hopefully get published some day.

All in all, the trip was absolutely brilliant and has given me a bit of a boost and has most definately encouraged me to take my work to the next level now ( once I get some money to do so :D )

Hope you all have a great Christmas, I have some more work soon that will be much better hopefully in taking more time I can imrove my work without spending too much money :)

Cheers all !
