SequentialMacro
Dark Arches moth
This little beauty came into my flat today. Little did he know a crazy macro manic man lived there ! mwhaha :-)
I made him sit and wait till I got a shot I was happy with then he flew off and rested on the window for a while.
For this photo, I chose the 50mm Prime FD lens reversed onto extension tubes..
I used f8 and handheld the camera and took 10 photos which I stacked in Zerene stacker.. simple as..
The sharpness is due to using the prime lens, and it only cost me a tenner ! Happy days.
Hope you all like it, took me a while to get as it was alive and not dead. Just can't kill something this beautiful, plus they are pretty co-operative when it comes to getting photos.
Pretty amazed by the quality of this 10 pound lens in the larger image you can see it has a LOT of sharp detail - www.flickr.com/photos/sequentialmacro/8074604334/sizes/k/
