Otterspool at Sunset

Hi guys !

 

On Friday, I was extremely bored so decided to get out on the bike and have a ride. I set out around 6 hoping to catch the sunset along the Promenade leading towards the Liverpool Docks.

I had to cycle around for a few hours waiting for the sun to get low enough, but it was very warm so I enjoyed the ride up and down the Promenade as I waited.

 

Half an hour before this photo, I climbed over the rails, with my bike, hiding it in-case anyone tried any funny business. I wanted to get nearer to the water, but there was nothing but mud in my path that was extremely deep and probably hard to get out of.

 

I set my stuff up on some rocks and tried to get the camera as centered and lined up as I could for the photo. Did some test shots before putting the 10stop ND filter on there, this being a 40 second exposure, single image. Lens was the 28mm Prime.

 

In photoshop I added Smart Sharpen as the image seemed a tad washy.
