Rock on the Horizon

Hi guys !

 

Thought it was about time I uploaded some holiday Landscape photos I got in Scotland a few weeks back now.

Here, I used my 10 Stop ND filter and Polarizing filter on top of it. Now, in hine sight that was stupid of me to do, and you will why it was if you look at the glazing effect on the left of the photo, DOH !

 

Nevertheless I really liked the effect I got here so decided to upload regardless.

 

Exposure time was around 80 seconds for this one, so over 80 seconds the shutter is slowly taking in light and so as the waves crash you get this washed out, soft effect.

 

The rock in the backdrop was about a mile off, home to god knows how many birds, and it is white because... well have a guess why.
