Fly stacking
Hi guys,
Here's a new one of another fly i found dead on the window ledge. not sure what it is, never am to be honest they all look alike.
This is a stack of around 100 images manually moved with an old CD drive (the one i showed you a while back).
I'm currently getting some help from Insect-o-saurus though to build an automated rail with some cheap bits from ebay so hopefully i'll have something less time consuming than having to manually move the rail.
I think lighting is much better in this one and there isn't any signs of out of focus bits so getting 100 images was well worth the hassle. The Yellow clay also worked well in the background so i'm glad i put that in there, always nice to have a colour in the backdrop to help the subject stand out.
