Eublepharis macularius - Lola - Leopard Gecko - Portrait 1

Hi, this is my pet lizard Lola who you may have seen here on Flickr before now, but since there hasn't been a bug in sight for a while now i decided to just take a few snaps of my pets and post them to share.

 

This was a hard image to get, especially since it was stacked from 5 images through Photoshop !! She would not for the life of her keep still, but after 30 minutes i think she got the message and she gave me this great pose, looking directly down the camera lens.

 

Setup was quite simple here,

I used -

 

50mm FD F1.8 reversed on camera mount Canon550D at f8 Aperture.

Flash AFD360 to the left of the camera ( hence only her left eye is visible in this image) at full power, sorry lola :D

 

Through Photoshop i also added some contrast to bring out her amazing features and increased the vividness of colours.
