Compound eye of a Male Hopper - Stack of 3 images

Hey all, here's another hopper photo of just the compound of a male, some amazing detail up close here !

In the upper left region where the light is bouncing off the many lens, you can see the shear amount of vast small lens and behind the compound is the simple lens, the black dot that is.

 

This is probably the best image i got for a focus stack as they don't keep still very long, moving around so much is why macro Photography is frustrating and time consuming !!

 

Taken with my 28mm f2.8 reversed onto macro extension tubes onto the body.

ISO - 100

Shutter Speed @ 1/200

Flash is the AFD360 at full power with diffuser on, though the diffuser doesn't do much...
