Salticus Scenicus

Found this little guy on the wall, he was literally 0.5cm long maybe shorter running around in the sun.

 

I picked him up and with great difficulty kept putting him on leaves and on my shorts to get him to stay still and look at the camera - but that didn't work.

 

Eventually, he was still just long enough for me to photograph him with the flash on [ luckily ]

 

Taken with a 50mm Prime lens reversed on a full set of macro extension tubes.

Flash was at 1/2 power with a flash diffuser - which isn't working too well at the moment.
