Tegenaria duellica
Found this Giant wolf spider on my landing few hours before i went to bed. The size of it was amazing - maybe 2 inches in length, and that's a big spider for the UK believe me.
The eye formation of this wolf sp is more or less the same as its brother species in the US, just a tad smaller though.
Taken with a 50mm Prime lens reversed on a set of extension tubes - Hoping to get some bellows for a higher magnification on the eyes of some insects, the closer, the better !
