Araneus diadematus

Araneus diadematus - More commonly known as a Garden or Orb weaver {Spider} has in total 8 eyes i think, 4 being at the center of its front face and 2 above and to the sides of it face.

 

Taken with a 50mm f1.8 prime lens reversed on macro extension tubes for extra magnification, the flash gun i used was the 360AFD with a home made flash diffuser to soften the light.
