Nephrotoma

Crane flies, most commonly known as

' Daddy Long Legs ' are found in the dozens in the Uk as they turn into flying machines in late summer.

This one flew straight past my head and landed on a leaf before settling, so i decided to get a few shots while i could - as it flew off shortly after.

Taken with a 50mm Prime lens at F11 reversed on macro extension tubes with a flash to the left of the camera on 1/8 of its full power outlet.
